PRESENTATION OF VIRTUE

Faith is knowing that God loves you and listens to you, even when you don’t feel it. It’s the daily struggle of trust, of total surrender to his will. Faith is a long race, which is never finished: run this road with endurance, and don’t shrink from the difficulties! The runner, seeing the finish line in the distance, is not discouraged despite fatigue, but endures to the end..

LET'S TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO PRAY

Lectio divina: reading an extract from the Bible and taking the time to meditate on it in silence, to let it penetrate our minds and hearts, and allow God to speak to us through his living Word – that’s the aim of this “divine reading”. In this way, we can see how living Scripture is, and how it still touches us today in our daily lives!

I can read and reread a Bible verse, learn it by heart and ask the Holy Spirit to let it work in my life.

a little sport !

Prayer marathon: walk around the church reciting a prayer (Hail Mary…).

Figure of sanctity

Saint John Paul II, in addition to being pope, was a great sportsman! For him and for the Church, the link is so great between faith and sporting practice!
